New Supermarket Opens Doors In Franklin Square

FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY — A new grocery store has opened in Franklin Square.

Holiday Farms Supermarket held its grand opening last week at 206 New Hyde Park Rd.

The location is on 20,000 square feet at the Franklin Plaza Shopping Center, Breslin Realty said.

Holiday Farms takes the spot that was held by King Kullen for almost a half-century. It will have a full-service supermarket and catering department.

Holiday Farms, Long Island-based, also has Long Island locations in Roslyn, Glen Head. Woodbury and Locust Valley.

The shopping center has an additional 2,200 square feet available for another retail tenant, Breslin Realty said.
