Uber Driver Robbed By Passenger In Nassau: Police
Roberto Loo Kung was arrested and charged with robbery, police said.
WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — A man was arrested for a robbing a Uber driver in West Hempstead early Monday, police said.
The victim, 22, picked up three men in Hempstead just before 1 a.m. They requested a ride to an address in West Hempstead, police said.
Upon arrival, there was a dispute about a fare and one of the passengers grabbed the driver by the shirt, demanding he return it, authorities said.

The man threatened the victim with a closed fist, police said.
A thorough investigation was conducted and Roberto Loo Kung, 36, was arrested, police said.

Kung is charged with third-degree robbery, police said. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
