West Hempstead First Graders Give Thanks
George Washington Elementary School students put on Thanksgiving production for teachers, families.
In the West Hempstead School District, George Washington Elementary School first graders gave thanks to their teachers and families during their Thanksgiving Treasures presentation.
Students opened the ceremony with handmade Thanksgiving-themed outfits and performed songs such as “Give Thanks,” “Albuquerque Turkey” and “I’m an Indian Child.” After each song, each class shared what they were thankful for this holiday season. Students were thankful for their families, siblings and friends.
