Work On LIRR Railroad Crossings To Cause Overnight Closures

MALVERNE, NY — Overnight road work is scheduled at three area railroad crossings in Malverne. Drivers should be aware of the following road closures for the paving activity:

Woodfield Road Crossing:
Wednesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. to Thursday, April 11 at 5 a.m.

Hempstead Avenue Crossing:
Tuesday, April 16 at 7 p.m. to Wednesday, April 17 at 5 a.m.

Ocean Avenue Crossing:
Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m. to Friday, April 18 at 5 a.m.

MTA Police will be on-site to help manage traffic and ensure safety, the Village of Malverne post to Facebook.

During those overnight closures, it's advised to plan on using alternate routes.
