36,000 Toys Donated At Massapequa Toys For Tots Event
The event was held at John Burns Park on Dec. 7.
MASSAPEQUA, NY — More than 36,000 toys were collected for the less fortunate children on Long Island.
It was part of a "Cruise-Thru" Toys for Tots drive at John Burns Park on Saturday.
"This collection drive truly demonstrated the love and compassion our community has for others," Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino said.

There is still time to donate this season.
Collection boxes are located at Oyster Bay Town Hall North and Town Hall South in Massapequa.
