Arrest In Long Island Woman's Fatal Christmas Eve Stabbing: Cops
He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Saturday, and was remanded without bail, online court records show.

LONG ISLAND, NY — A Long Island man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman on Christmas Eve, Nassau police said.
Jeremy Emmanuel Lopez Ramirez, 27, of Massapequa has been charged with second-degree murder, according to police.
He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead, and was remanded without bail, online court records show.

Patch has reached out to his defense attorney, Nicole Ann Guliano of Manhattan, for comment.
Police say that around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responding to a home on Old Sunrise Highway in Massapequa for a report of an unresponsive female, found Josefina Ramirez Montero, 57, with multiple stab wounds and she died later at the hospital.
