Cops: South Shore Trio Robbed Friend at Knifepoint

Two men from N. Bellmore and a woman from Wantagh robbed a man they knew at knifepoint Thursday in East Meadow, police said.

Two men and a woman robbed their friend at knifepoint and stole his Xanax pills Thursday in East Meadow, according to Nassau County Police.

At 3:45 p.m., a 21-year-old man was robbed of his cash, baseball hat, and Xanax pills while in a car on Jefferson Street, cops said. During the robbery, the trio brandished a knife at the victim and claimed they had a gun, cops said.

The victim was an acquaintance of the robbers, identified by police as Sean Reilly, 21, of N. Bellmore, Daniel Pflaumer, 19, of N. Bellmore, and Kelly Connolly, 20, of Wantagh.

Police found the three on Jerusalem Avenue soon after the incident and took them into custody, officials said. Xanax, the victim’s hat, and a hypodermic needle were found in their possession, cops said.

All three were charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree robbery, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Reilly was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Reilly and Connelly were also charged with fourth-degree grand larceny in an unrelated incident.

All three will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
