Grand Marshals Named For Massapequa's 1st St. Patrick's Day Parade

The parade is on Saturday, March 15.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Grand marshals have been named for the Massapequa's first St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The Chamber of Commerce announced on Tuesday that Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder and former chamber president Gary Slavin are the grand marshals for the inaugural parade.

The Saturday, March 15 parade kicks off at 11 a.m. If you're planning to attend, you should arrive by 10 a.m. and no later than 10:30 a.m.

The parade will begin on Jerusalem Avenue, and proceed south on Broadway to Veterans Blvd., with the Showmobile located at Pennsylvania Avenue and Broadway.
