Massapequa residents who still need assistance in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy are going to get some on Monday. Touro Law Center will be holding a free legal clinic for Sandy victims at Massapequa High School at 5 p.m. The clinic will be followed by a seminar at 7 p.m featuring representatives from various agencies involved in storm recovery. The clinic comes in advance of two important deadlines, the "proof of loss" insurance deadline and the statute of limitations for filing lawsuits, according to Touro officials.
