Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Selfless dedication everyday during this pandemic. She sees to their daily scheduling activities - promoting teamwork among her ICU RN staff, patient and family care and coordinating with her fellow superiors. Rose has over 36 years at this facility supervising an Intensive Care Unit, Dialysis Unit and Telemetry Unit. She loved being an RN and giving of herself to others working five days a week an average of 12 hours a day. She inspired her daughter, Lauren Mirable, to become an RN - working Cardio Vascular Unit until this crisis as well as working in ICU during this pandemic. Lauren this past week graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Hofstra University’s Nurse Practitioner program for Northwell Health Manhasset Long Island while still working at her hospital full time. She now has that Nurse Practitioner title at the age of 32. Her husband Anthony Mirable is an EMT and Supervisor at a private Long Island Ambulance Company. Lauren’s older brother Chris Robinson is a New York City Corrections Officer at Riker’s Island prison, also a front line worker with seven years of dedicated service to the City of New York. I am blessed with this family of selfless individuals!

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
