Massapequa parents who are concerned about the impact of social media on the lives of their children can learn more about these sites from students themselves.
Massapequa High School will host a program Wednesday entitled, "How to Navigate and Responsibly Use Social Media... 'Do You Know Where Your Children Are?' ”
It's open to all parents of students in the district from K-12 and it will be student run.
Students will teach you how to use popular social media sites and how to teach your children to use them responsibly.
The workshop meets at 7 p.m. in the school's cyber cafe.
