Street Closures For Massapequa's 1st St. Patrick's Day Parade

Saturday's parade begins at 11 a.m.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Massapequa's first St. Patrick Day Parade is ready to step off along Broadway.

But, anyone planning to attend Saturday's parade should be aware of some street closures.

Broadway will shut starting at Jerusalem Avenue and moving south to Veterans Boulevard. All side streets beginning at Hamilton Avenue will also be blocked off to traffic.

The closures are expected from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with "No Parking" signs in place, the Chamber of Commerce said.

The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. with Co-Grand Marshals: Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder and Gary Slavin, past president of the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce.
