Village Board and JFK Remembrance This Week

The Massapequa Village Board meets This week and the library will show a JFK themed movie on the 50th anniversary  of his Assassination this week.

Here's a look ahead: 

Village Board: The Massapequa Park Village Board meets Monday at Village Hall, 151 Front Street at 8 p.m.

Town Board: The Oyster Bay Town Board meets Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Town Hall, 54 Audrey Avenue in Oyster Bay. The meeting was originally scheduled to be held on Nov. 26 but was changed to this week.

ZBA: The Oyster Bay Zoning Board of Appeals meets Thursday at 7 p.m. at TOwn Hall:

JFK Anniversary: Friday marks a half century since the 35th President was shot and killed in Dallas. The Bar Harbour Library will show the film "Parkland" starring Zac Efron, Marcia Gay Harden, Paul Giamatti and Billy Bob Thornton to mark the day. It shows at 1 p.m. 

Babysitter's Job Fair: This event at Bar Harbour Friday gives parents a chance to choose a sitter and helps area sitters find a job. It starts at 4:15 p.m.
