WATCH: Cops Seek Man in Massapequa Jewelry Theft
Police released video of a man who reportedly ran out of Sears with an expensive necklace over the weekend.

Nassau Police released surveillance footage Thursday of a man they say ran out of a Massapequa store with an expensive necklace over the weekend.
At 7:13 p.m. Saturday, the man was caught on camera at a jewelry counter at Sears in Sunrise Mall. The man asked to see a 24-inch 10 carat gold necklace valued at $1,125, cops said.
The clerk presented the necklace and when the man had it in his hands, he ran from the store without paying, police said. He fled on a gray mountain bike, cops said.
