What's Open on Christmas Day

If you don't celebrate the holiday or looking for a last minute grocery item,  it can often be difficult to find something that's open on Christmas Day. 

Patch is here to help with a guide to area businesses that will be operating on Wednesday. 

Here's a look at what's open:

Waldbaum's: The  supermarket's Sunrise Highway store in Massapequa will be open until 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Pathmark: While the chain's Seaford store will be closed Wednesday, their location on Carmans Road in Massapequa will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Smokin' Al's Famous BBQ Joint: Who needs Christmas goose when you can have ribs? The Massapequa Park eatery will be open from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Lighthouse Restaurant and Diner: It'll be closed Christmas morning but it'll be back serving comfort food at 3 p.m.

Paddy's Loft: The pub  at 1286 Hicksville Road iat the Massapequa/Seaford border will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday and the kitchen will open at 11 a.m.

Broadway Gourmet Caterers: A great place to pick up some last minute items on North Broadway in Massapequa. They'll be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Massapequa Diner: They're open. They'll be there for you Wednesday and beyond, as the Sunrise Highway eatery is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

Boss Crokers: If you want to top off your holiday with food and drink, the Wantagh Avenue Pub will open at 8 p.m.  Wednesday and close at 4 a.m. Thursday.
