2 Sedans, Silver And Red, Believed Involved In Long Island Shooting Injuring Boy: Cops
Suffolk police seeking tips on the shooting, and reward is being offered for information.
MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk detectives are looking for a red sedan and a silver sedan they say may have been involved in a shooting in Medford on Wednesday.
Several gunshots were fired from the street into a home on Cedar Lane, between West Lane and Barbara Lane, at around 1:35 a.m., injuring an eight-year old boy who was grazed by a bullet, police said.
The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, according to police.

The crime has been classified assault, according to a police news alert.
