Man Hit Parked Car In Medford, Drove Off: Police

The man caused approximately $1K in damage to the unoccupied parked car before driving away, police say.

MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, drove his jeep into a parked vehicle in the parking lot of a Medford store.

A man was driving a gray Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot of Lowe’s, at 2796 Route 112, when he struck an unoccupied parked car, causing an estimated $1K in damage, around 5 p.m. May 30, police said. The man in the Jeep drove away without stopping, police said. He is wanted for a hit-and-run.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
