Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash With SUV In Suffolk: Police
His Suzuki Boulevard struck a Chevrolet Equinox, and he was later transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.
MEDFORD, NY — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with an SUV in Medford on Sunday night, the second crash of its kind in Suffolk since Saturday, Suffolk police said.
At around 9:25 p.m., a 44-year-old Medford man was driving a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard motorcycle eastbound on Horseblock Road when it crashed into a westbound 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, as it was turning left onto Maine Avenue, according to police.
The man sustained serious injuries and was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue before being transferred to Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.

The Chevrolet's driver, a 43-year-old man from Mastic, was not injured, according to police.
Both the Suzuki and the Chevrolet were impounded for safety checks, police said.

A motorcyclist died after the vehicle struck a compact SUV on Saturday night in Mastic, police said.
