Merrick Avenue Middle School Ranks Among Best in State

Niche.com has released its rankings of public middle schools across the country and Merrick Avenue Middle School made the list of the top 100 in New York.

The Bellmore-Merrick school came in at No. 100 among middle schools in the state with an overall A grade from Niche. Merrick Avenue earned an A grade for academics and district overall experience. They also earned A+ marks for teachers. Merrick Avenue’s least successful category was for student culture & diversity, where they earned a C-.

Niche says it ranked 19,710 middle schools nationwide based on key student statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.
