• Blakeman, D'Esposito, Rhoads Help Cut Ribbon On Saint Demetrios Cultural Center (patch.com) — Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Merrick has opened its new Cassis Cultural Center, celebrating with a ribbon-cutting attended by top Nassau officials. The center, supported by nearly 350 donors including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, will house a gym, church school, classrooms, and community spaces designed to preserve Greek culture and strengthen local fellowship.
