Valley Stream Subway Robbed

A masked man robbed a Valley Stream eatery Sunday night, according to Nassau County Police.

At 8:15 p.m., a man jumped over the counter at Subway, located at 204 W. Merrick Road, and demanded cash from an employee, cops said.

The man took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register before forcing the victim into a back room and fleeing, police said.

The man was described as wearing a blue mask, black shirt, and blue sweatpants.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.
