1 Killed, 1 Injured In I-84 Crash In Newburgh
Police said a Nissan Rogue struck the guiderail and flipped into the center median.
NEWBURGH, NY — An investigation into a fatal crash on Interstate 84 in the town of Newburgh is ongoing.
The New York State Police said the crash happened shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday on the eastbound interstate near exit 39 in Newburgh.
A preliminary investigation found that a Nissan Rogue struck the guiderail and flipped into the center median.

The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle’s passenger was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in serious condition.
