2 Accused Of Robbing Catskill Man Of Cash, Cell Phone, ID

Police said the victim was also struck in the face.

CATSKILL, NY — Two people were arrested after being accused of robbing a man in the town of Catskill.

The New York State Police said, shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday, troopers were contacted by the Catskill Police Department about a report of a robbery.

Troopers said they spoke with the victim who said he was robbed at a home on Jefferson Heights in the town of Catskill.

He told the troopers that two people had come in the home and robbed him and was struck in the face by a man later identified as Clyde Wilburn, 48, of Catskill, police said.

Wilburn was with a woman, Jessica Collazo, 32, also from Catskill, according to authorities.

The investigation found that the pair entered the home and robbed the victim of his cell phone, $12 in cash, his state ID card, a bank card and a Medicare card, police said.

Wilburn and Collazo then forced him to go to a local ATM and withdraw $540 from his account, police said, after which Collazo gave him his cell phone back.

Collazo and Wilburn then left the area, police said.

On Friday, Collazo was located and charged with first-degree robbery, a felony. She was arraigned in the Town of Catskill Court and sent to the Greene County Jail.

Troopers located Wilburn Saturday at the Catskill Inn and charged him with first-degree robbery, a felony. He was also arraigned in the Town of Catskill Court and sent to the Greene County Jail.
