3rd-Prize-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley
To win a third prize, four numbers plus the Powerball have to be correctly chosen.
PINE BUSH, NY — A couple of third-prize-winning Powerball tickets were sold in New York, including in Orange County.
The New York Lottery announced that two third-prize-winning tickets, both worth $50,000, for the Feb. 24 Powerball drawing were purchased at:
- Central Valley Enterprise, 2215 Route 52 in Pine Bush
- Rocky Point Petroleum, 779 Route 25A in Rocky Point
Winning numbers for the Feb. 24 Powerball drawing are 3-8-40-53-58 with a Powerball of 3, according to the New York Lottery website.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
