$50K Powerball 3rd-Prize-Winning Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley
A lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
NEWBURGH, NY — There were two third-prize-winning tickets for the Feb. 21 Powerball drawing sold in New York — and one of them was in the Hudson Valley.
New York Lottery officials said the winning tickets — both worth $50,000 — were purchased at:
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
- Stop & Shop #0563, 57-01 Sunrise Highway in Holbrook
Winning numbers for the Feb. 21 Powerball drawing are 4-27-33-41-42 with a Powerball of 14, according to the New York Lottery website.

To win a third prize, customers must have correctly chosen four numbers plus the Powerball.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
