Car Crashes Into Wallkill School Admin Building
Sheriff's deputies said the driver left the scene and then crashed into a telephone pole.
WALLKILL, NY — A driver crashed into the Wallkill Central School District Administration building and later crashed into a utility pole.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said, around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, deputies saw a car crash into the school district’s administration building on Route 208 in the hamlet of Wallkill and then try to leave the area.
A traffic stop was attempted, but the driver refused to stop.

Authorities said the car continued a short distance into the hamlet and crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of Bona Ventura Avenue and Lavoletta Street.
The driver — Jason D. Hepper, 33, of Walden — sustained injuries from the crash and was taken to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown for treatment.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing, and no charges have yet been announced.
