Columbia Man Has Child Porn: NYSP

Authorities said the man is facing five felony counts of possessing child pornography.

CHATHAM, NY — A Columbia County man was arrested after being accused of having child pornography.

The New York State Police said Daniel S. Muniz, 30, of Chatham, was arrested Thursday and charged with five counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, felonies.

Following a law enforcement tip, investigators from the Troop K Computer Crimes Unit and the Livingston barracks said they determined Muniz was in possession of child pornography.

Muniz was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Chatham Court March 6.
