Concern For Drugged-Out Woman On Metro-North Platform Led To 760 Drug Bags: Cops
The glassine bags contained a white powder which tested positive for heroin and fentanyl, according to Town of Wallkill Police.

TOWN OF WALLKILL, NY — Strange behavior at a Hudson Valley train station led to a surprising find by police, authorities said.
The Town of Wallkill Police Department says that on June 3, at 8:41 p.m., an officer responded to the Metro-North Station located at 100 Healys Way after receiving a "check the welfare" complaint.
Once on the scene, the officer reported seeing a woman sitting on the curb of the train station platform, seeming to be under the influence of narcotics.

After searching the woman, the officer found 760 glassine envelopes containing a white powder which tested positive for heroin and fentanyl with the Trunarc Narcotics Analyzer, police said. The woman also had 6 alprazolam pills, according to cops.
Loerli Davila, 24, of the City of Middletown, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, false personation, second-degree criminal impersonation, appearance in public under the influence of narcotics, and "public health law possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container."

Davila was released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Wallkill Court on June 18. Police said she is also being held on a bench warrant for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance by the New York State Police.
