Connecticut Man Accused Of Raping Juvenile In Dutchess County

The investigation began last summer after the sheriff's office was alerted to a possible sexual offense involving the man and a minor.

DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — A Connecticut man was arrested after being accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with a minor in Dutchess County.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that Antonio K. Scott, 19, of Sharon, Connecticut, was arrested and charged Wednesday with second-degree rape, a felony.

Authorities said the investigation began in the summer after the sheriff’s office was alerted to a possible sexual offense involving Scott and a juvenile.

Scott was sent to the Dutchess County Jail, according to law enforcement.
