CT Man Accused Of Having Sex With Minor In Fishkill
Authorities said the incident was not random, and there doesn't appear to be a risk to public safety.

FISHKILL, NY — A Connecticut man was accused of raping a minor in the town of Fishkill.
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said Axell Enrique Orellana Flores, 21, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was arrested Monday and charged with third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sex act, felonies.
The sheriff’s office said Flores was arrested after an investigation into inappropriate sexual contact involving a minor under the age of 17 that happened Sunday in Fishkill.

Authorities said the incident was not random, and there doesn’t appear to be a risk to public safety.
No further details about the case will be released in order to protect the privacy of the victim, the sheriff’s office said.

After Flores was processed on the charges, he was arraigned in the City of Beacon Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail, $5,000 bond or $10,000 partially secured bond.
