Fatal Car Crash In Clinton Tuesday
Police said the car a woman was driving went off the road for unknown reasons.
CLINTON, NY — One person died when a car went off the roadway in Dutchess County.
The New York State Police said the fatal car crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday on Slate Quarry Road in the town of Clinton.
An investigation found that Lisa M. Drozdowski, 52, of Clinton, was driving a 2012 Subaru Forester east on Slate Quarry Road when it left the roadway for unknown reasons.

Authorities said the Forester struck a utility pole and several trees before coming to rest.
Drozdowski was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.
