Food and Wine Events In The Hudson Valley

MID HUDSON VALLEY, NY—Warm weather offers a chance to savor delicious food, fine wine and craft beers in an outdoor setting. Here some festivals where you can taste the best of the Hudson Valley. A few begin today, so, if you're feeling spontaneous, head out to enjoy some fine dining and sampling.

Mid Hudson

Hudson Valley Wine and Food Fest

When: Sept. 9 and 10

Where: Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck

The event features hundreds of wines from Hudson Valley wineries and beyond, NY distilled spirits, craft beers and gourmet specialty foods from all over the country.

Taste of the Catskills Festival
When: noon October 7 to 4 p.m. October 8
Where: Maple Shade Farm, 2066 County Highway 18, Delhi
The two-day festival celebrates local food and farmers. More than 60 vendors will be at the farm, including Brewery Ommegang and Saranac.

Rockland

New City Rotary Festival

When Sept. 16

Where: Rockland County Day School

The festival includes music and entertainment to complement a wide array of food and wine displays. Money is being raised to benefit anti-hunger and anti-poverty programs.

We Can Share The Wine Music Festival!

When: noon to 6 p.m. July 15 and 16

Where: Torne Valley Vineyard, Torne Valley Road, Hillburn

The festival offers music, craft vendors, great food, vineyard wine, NYS Craft Beer, other spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be fun activities for both kids and adults including yoga.

The Hudson Valley's Fourth Annual Smoke and Fire Food and Music Festival

When July 15, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: German Masonic Park, 89 Western Highway Tappan

Guests can listen to music while sampling sauces, spices and specialty foods. Proceeds benefit Baking Memories for Kids, an organization that makes dreams come true for terminally ill kids and their families.

Putnam

Putnam County Wine and Food Fest

When: August 12-13

Iron and Wine Restaurant and Westview Golf Driving Range, 3191 Route 22, Patterson

Come sample wines, ciders and spirits from renowned producers, or enjoy a cold craft or local beer in
the beer garden.
