It is monetary donations that will help those Santas get off the roof.
Last year, People’s Place experienced a drastic increase in demand for its services. Over 1,400 new households needed assistance and they distributed over 1.5 million meals.
Looking forward to the holiday season, People’s Place is anticipating providing gift packages to nearly 3,000 children this year via Project Santa. That means they need to purchase over 44,000 toys and gifts! Financial donations to this Christmas in July event will be critical to helping keep the magic of Santa alive for close to 3,000 local children.
