Woman Uses Baseball Bat To Beat 72-Year-Old Man: Police
Police said the woman also used the bat to smash the windows of the man's car.
HIGHLAND, NY — An Ulster County woman was arrested after being accused of beating a 72-year-old man with a baseball bat.
The Town of Lloyd Police Department said Genesis M. Spatola, 42, of Highland, was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.
Police said Spatola assaulted a 72-year-old Highland man with a baseball bat, causing injuries to the man’s face and legs.

She is also accused of smashing the man’s car windows with the bat, which caused extensive damage to the car, police said.
Spatola was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail on $5,000 bail.

She is due back in court Thursday.
