Hudson Valley Schools Announce Closings, Delays For Friday
The winter storm began affecting the region Thursday and should continue into Friday.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The winter storm that began Thursday afternoon continues to affect the Hudson Valley.
How much it will affect the morning commute and school openings is yet to be seen, but some school districts are deciding early to either close for Friday or delay the start of classes.
As of 9:30 p.m. Thursday, here are the school districts that have made changes to Friday's schedule:

- Eldred: Closed
- Fallsburg: Closed
- Harmony Christian School: Closed
- Harvey School: Closed
- Liberty: Closed
- Middletown: 2-hour delay
- Monticello: Closed
- Onteora: Closed
- Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Middletown: 2-hour delay
- Valley Central: 2-hour delay
