POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Vassar College can have a polling site for elections on its Poughkeepsie campus, a Dutchess County Supreme Court ruled Thursday.

The judge ruled that the Dutchess County Board of Elections did not comply with a state law that required colleges with enough registered voters to have the option of getting a polling place, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

Vassar, with its approximately 1,100 registered voters on its campus, met the 300 or more registrants requirement.
