Liberty Police Looking For Man Accused Of Choking Someone

Police said the man is believed to be driving a white 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that has California plates.

LIBERTY, NY — Police in the village of Liberty are looking for a 33-year-old man who was accused of choking someone.

Austin McHaney, 33, is wanted on an active arrest warrant, according to a Facebook post.

He was charged with second-degree strangulation and criminal mischief – prevent emergency call, police said.

McHaney is white and is 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He weighs 155 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes.

He is believed to be driving a white 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that has California plates with the registration 24197W2.
