Man Tries To Prostitute Children Out Of Goshen Pizza Cafe: Police

State police are asking anyone who feels they may have been victimized by the man to call them.

GOSHEN, NY — A Greene County man was arrested after being accused of attempting to prostitute minor children out of a pizza and coffee cafe.

The New York State Police, along with the Village of Goshen Police Department and the Orange County Child Abuse Unit, announced the arrest of David J. Bacucci, 42, of Purling, Greene County.

Police said Bacucci was arrested after an investigation found he was involved in endangering the welfare of children by trying to promote their prostitution out of Davey’s Barista located on Church Street in the village of Goshen.

Bacucci was charged with second-degree attempting to promote prostitution, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal solicitation, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree unlawful imprisonment, misdemeanors.

He was arraigned in the City of Middletown Court where he was sent to the Orange County Jail on $25,000 bail or $50,000 bond.

Bacucci was ordered to appear in the Village of Goshen Court Nov. 5, police said.

The state police are asking anyone who feels they were victimized by Bacucci or knows of someone who was to call the New York State Police Monroe BCI at 845-782-8311.
