Middletown Man Admits Sexually Abusing Child, Gets Prison Sentence
Along with the prison sentence, the man will have to register as a sex offender.
MIDDLETOWN, NY — A 28-year-old Orange County man who admitted sexually abusing a child will be going to prison.
Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler said, on Tuesday, Trevon Hudson, 28, of Middletown, was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by 10 years of post-release supervision in relation to his previously pleading guilty to first-degree criminal sexual act.
As part of his sentence, he will also be registered as a sex offender under the New York Sex Offender Registration Act.

Hudson previously admitted in court that he engaged in oral sexual conduct with a child who was younger than 13 years old.
Hoovler said that Hudson’s admitted conduct represents unspeakable abuse of an innocent child.

“I hope that the significant sentence imposed will provide a degree of closure to the victim and will ensure that this defendant is unable to harm others,” he said.
