Mother’s Day Shooting Injures One In Kingston: PD
A man was shot in the early morning hours, according to police.

KINGSTON, NY — A 27-year-old man was shot early Sunday at Stuyvesant Charter Apartments on Sheehan Court, according to police.
The victim was taken to HealthAlliance Hospital’s emergency room after the shooting, which happened around 5 a.m., police said, in a press release. He was later transferred to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for additional treatment.
The man’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening, according to police.

Police on Sunday charged a local man in connection with the shooting.
Anthony Harding Jr., 28, of Kingston is accused of first-degree assault.

Police did not provide a possible motive for the shooting.
