Newburgh Man Arrested For Predatory Sexual Assault, Rape Of Child

NEWBURGH, NY — Investigators are looking for other possible victims of an Orange County man who police say sexually abused at least two children.

The Town of Newburgh Police Department says that 34-year-old Kelvin Dubon-Rivas, of Newburgh, was arrested for felony predatory sexual assault and felony first degree rape, for conduct against a child less than the age of 11. He was arraigned and remanded to Orange County Jail without bail

Police say their ongoing investigation found one additional juvenile victim and it is unknown if there are any additional victims. Anyone with information about Dubon-Rivas is urged to contact Newburgh police at 845-564-1100.

The investigation is being conducted with the help of the Orange County Sexual Assault Prevention and Advocacy Program (SAPA).
