Newburgh Man Sexually Assaulted Child: NYSP
The man was charged with predatory sexual assault of a child, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

NEWBURGH, NY — A Newburgh man was accused of being a sexual predator in Orange County.
The New York State Police said the Orange County Child Abuse Unit in conjunction with the Orange County Child Protective Services arrested Jose Ramos Alonzo, 33, of Newburgh, Thursday.
An investigation found Alonzo engaged in a course of sexual conduct with a child less than 11 years old, police said.

He was subsequently arrested for predatory sexual assault of a child, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Alonzo was arraigned in the Town of New Windsor Court and sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
