NYC Man Accused Of Having Drugs, Resisting Arrest After Crash In HV
The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said the man was already wanted on a warrant from the New York State Police.
LAGRANGE, NY — A New York City man, who was already wanted on a warrant by the New York State Police, was arrested after being involved in an auto accident Friday.
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said Julian M. Muhlemann, 25, of New York City, was charged Friday with seven-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration, and misdemeanors.
The sheriff’s office said, around 6:25 a.m. Friday, deputies responded to Route 55 near the McDonald’s in LaGrange for a report of a crash.

After an interview and investigation, Muhlemann was identified as being involved and was found to be in possession of various types of pills, law enforcement said.
Deputies tried to place him under arrest, but he physically resisted, they said. He was eventually taken into custody.

After being processed, Muhlemann was released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of LaGrange Court March 6, before ultimately being turned over to the state police on a warrant.
