Part-Time Hudson Valley Cop Accused Of Stalking

GOSHEN, NY — A part-time police officer was accused of stalking.
The New York State Police said Kenneth Memmelaar, 53, of Goshen, was arrested Monday and charged with fourth-degree stalking, a misdemeanor.

He was arrested in the town of Montgomery, arraigned in the City of Middletown Court and released on his own recognizance.
Memmelaar is scheduled to reappear in the Village of Chester Court Sept. 27.

Police said he is currently employed as a part-time police officer with the Town of Montgomery Police Department.
