Person Struck, Killed By Train Near Hudson Valley Station

Authorities are still investigating the incident, officials said.

TUXEDO, NY — A person was killed by being struck by a train in Orange County Tuesday.

According to a spokesperson for the MTA, a person who was not authorized to be on the tracks east of the Tuxedo Station was struck and killed shortly after 2 a.m.

No criminality is suspected, and the investigation is ongoing.

The person’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
