Police ID 80-Year-Old Woman Who Died In Rosendale Fire

ROSENDALE, NY — An 80-year-old woman who died in a fire Sunday in Ulster County was identified Friday by the New York State Police.

Authorities said Jone G. Miller, 80, was found dead in her home in the town of Rosendale following a house fire.

The exact cause of the fire on Mossy Brook Road is still under investigation, though police said, there is no indication of foul play.

The state police are being assisted in the investigation by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control and the Ulster County Office of Emergency Services.
