Port Jervis Man Accused Of Trying To Have Sex With A Child
Police said the child was younger than 13 years of age.
PORT JERVIS, NY — Police accused a Port Jervis man of trying to have sex with a child.
The New York State Police said on Monday that James Pospisil, 44, of Port Jervis, was arrested after a complaint was received about an adult male engaging in sexual contact with a child less than 13 years old.
Pospisil was charged with attempted predatory sexual assault of a child, a felony.

He was arraigned in the City of Middletown Court and was sent to the Orange County Jail without bail.
