Poughkeepsie Man Sells Fentanyl Near High School: Police
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force conducted a search of the man's home which is located near Poughkeepsie High School.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A city of Poughkeepsie man was arrested after being accused of having and selling illegal drugs near Poughkeepsie High School.
The Dutchess County Drug Task Force said Maurice Bogle, 38, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance – fentanyl, both felonies.
Authorities said other charges are pending.

The task force said it’s been investigating the sale of fentanyl on Forbus Street, about 200 feet from Poughkeepsie High School.
Task force agents said they purchased fentanyl and other narcotics from Bogle during the course of the investigation.

On Thursday an early morning raid of a house on Forbus Street was conducted with the assistance of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Service Unit and the City of Poughkeepsie Neighborhood Recovery Unit.
As a result of the raid on Bogle’s residence, a quantity of cocaine and fentanyl were seized, according to authorities.
The task force said that selling fentanyl in close proximity to a school is a public health risk, and the task force will aggressively target any person who sells fentanyl in Dutchess County.
