Prison For Man Who Got Pre-Teen To Perform Sex Acts Online

PINE BUSH, NY — An Orange County man will be going to prison for having and sending child pornography.

Damian Williams, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said Thursday that Zachary Huebsch, 25, of Pine Bush, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for distribution and receipt of child pornography.

He was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release.

The sentencing followed Huebsch’s guilty plea on May 24.

Williams said Huebsch’s conduct was abhorrent and “illustrates the danger that online predators pose to vulnerable members of our community, our children.”

According to prosecutors, Heubsch communicated on Discord, a social media application with a 12-year-old girl in July and August of 2021.

Using the Discord username “yourdarkmaster2,” he instructed her to engage in various sexual acts and to perform them on live-streaming video.

Huebsch saved the girl’s sexually explicit images from those live-streamed sessions and discussed meeting her in person to engage in sexual activity.

He sent the child a screenshot of a map of a park near her house with a suggested location where they could meet.

The investigation concerning Huebsch began following a report from the girl’s mother after she found communications on the child’s phone that worried her.
