Single Lane Closures Expected Along Interstate 84 In Orange County
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate bridge maintenance, weather permitting.
ORANGE COUNTY, NY — The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Orange County motorists to expect one lane to close along Interstate 84 eastbound and westbound between Exit 4 (Mountain Road) in the Town of Greenville and Exit 39 (U.S. Route 9W) in the Town of Newburgh, weekdays beginning Monday, August 22 through Friday, August 26, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The purpose of the closure is to facilitate bridge maintenance, weather permitting.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
